I have been involved with IS-BAO for seven years, both as the Safety Officer for an IS-BAO Stage 3 international flight operation, and as an accredited auditor. 

Throughout my interactions with various flight departments I have realized there is a general lack of knowledge by many of what IS-BAO is, what an SMS entails, and the process for developing and implementing the standard.

This website was developed to try to further both the understanding and implementation of these  exceptional systems.

I truly believe in the value of this program, and I look forward to the opportunity to help your department undertake this extremely rewarding endeavor.
